Hello, to whom ever will be reading this blog. If you have taken
the time to review my writings I thank you. Ill try to make this blog as interesting as my real life (so you will probably get bored easily ). Well anyway this is my first entry so I would like to use the first couple of paragraphs to truely introduce myself.
My birth name is James Cole Avalos-Rogers. However for the ease of it I just go by Cole Rogers, however please just call me Cole. Im 16 years old and I live about 4 and 1/2 hour from the Los Angeles area where I cut with The Cutting Squad who by now you have most likely heard of. They are a great group and im lucky to call myself a member.
That was most of the bland part, now what about the interesting part? Well first of all I have have been disabled and in a wheelchair my whole life. Despite this I still like to do things that might break the stereotype that people have of a wheelchair user. For instance I enjoy kayaking, hiking, backyard cutting, and my main passion martial arts. All of these activities most people would never consider as things for "chairbound people".
I have been doing Martial Arts for over a year now and to be honest am quite bad at them. However I work everyday to get better. To see some videos of my practice please visit my personal youtube channel www.youtube.com/user/crazycolerogers
I first got interested in backyard cutting when I found the ubc about a year ago. A short while later I bought my first sword and made my first cutting video

After awhile I saw the cutting squad was in an area I frequently visited so I hit em up and brought my friends Kevin and Jenn and all of us are now members. I cant come and cut as much as I would like but here is a recent vid

I hope you enjoyed this brief blog entry. Look forward to more on backyard cutting, martial arts, and my life. Take Care,
Cole
